My thoughts this week have gone to a far-off country. In my mind, this tired world is pulled back like an old worn curtain and then it appears, stretching out to welcome me. A shining road wrapping around large snow-capped mountains, following clear crisp streams through deep dark forests of tall trees and across a vast green meadow filled with new spring flowers. Over a rise and there is a sight unlike anything I have ever seen before. White creamy shores caressed by the gentle tides of a deep blue sea, above a sky accented with fluffy white clouds of cotton and along the sands is a great marble mansion gleaming in the warmth of the morning sun, lined with porticoes of cool shade. Inside the shimmering walls are many rooms where one waits for me. As I mount the mansion's steps I know, I am home.
