Having just finished one interesting project, I am waiting on material from a writer in need of assistance in moving her exciting work along. I do a lot of waiting as a freelance writer. I wait for my own work to be reviewed and the acceptance or rejection that goes with the profession. I wait for writers for whom I do ghostwriting to deliver their material. I wait for clients to read what I have written for them and respond. I wait, I wait, I wait. Perhaps, that is why, when I am in between projects, I stop to reflect on what I have done, my accomplishments, what I hope to do and even dream a little. The time in between work can be some of the best times.
"To the Jews who had believed him, Jesus said, 'If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples. Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.'" John 8:31-32
