There is nothing more ignorant than an arrogant man who believes in his own self-importance. We are specks on a world in a vast universe created by a God so big we cannot comprehend him. Instead of worshipping him, we set ourselves up as mini gods and search for anything over which we might exercise control. For only then do we merit our lofty positions. The irony is that we are children of the King of the Universe with exalted positions in his creation but we routinely walk away from our royal stations for the lowly place of minor impotent gods. |
